How does the scheduling engine work?

You define tiles with target hours, allowed days, and preferred block sizes. The engine distributes blocks across your planning period, working around your sleep window, keystones (fixed commitments), and imported calendar events. You can choose front-loaded, even, or back-loaded distribution.

What are keystones?

Keystones are recurring commitments that the planner works around — things like a commute, regular meetings, or gym sessions. They can be fixed (exact time) or flexible (within a time window).

Do I need Google Calendar?

No. Google Calendar integration is entirely optional. Mosaic works perfectly well as a standalone planner. Calendar sync is available if you want the planner to account for existing events.

What's the difference between Free and Pro?

Free includes the full scheduling engine, widget, analytics, and streaks — limited to 2 planning tiles and 1 calendar import. Pro unlocks unlimited tiles, multiple calendar import, push-to-calendar, and watermark-free image export.

Can I get a refund?

Subscriptions and purchases are handled through Google Play. You can request a refund through the Google Play Store within their standard refund window. For the annual plan, you can cancel at any time and retain access until the end of your billing period.

Is my data backed up?

All data is stored locally on your device. If your device supports Android Auto Backup, your app data may be included in your device backup. We do not currently offer cloud sync.
