1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Mosaic ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.
2. Description of Service
Mosaic is a time-planning application for Android that helps you schedule goals into your week. The app generates plans locally on your device and optionally integrates with Google Calendar.
3. User Accounts & Google Sign-In
Mosaic does not require an account for core functionality. If you choose to connect Google Calendar, you authenticate via Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. We do not store your Google credentials.
4. Mosaic Pro & Subscriptions
Mosaic offers a free tier and a paid "Mosaic Pro" tier. Pro is available as an annual subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase, both processed through Google Play Billing.
- Subscription payments are charged to your Google Play account and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in the Google Play Store app under Subscriptions.
- Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policy.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers will retain their current price until their next renewal after any change.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the app's systems or infrastructure
- Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the app
6. Intellectual Property
Mosaic and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by That Data Person Limited and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Your scheduling data belongs to you.
7. Google Calendar Integration
Mosaic's use of Google Calendar data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By connecting Google Calendar, you grant Mosaic permission to read events from and (with Pro) write events to your selected calendars. You can revoke this access at any time via Google Account Permissions.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Mosaic is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that scheduling suggestions will be optimal for your needs. You are solely responsible for how you use the generated plans.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, That Data Person Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, missed appointments, or scheduling conflicts.
10. Termination
You may stop using Mosaic at any time by uninstalling the app. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the app if these terms are violated. Upon termination, your local data remains on your device until you delete it.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
